Avoiding World War III: Managing Threats from China, Russia, and AI
Here is what Kevin Rudd, Ian Bremmer, and I had to say about the biggest challenges facing global stability today.
What keeps you up at night? It’s a question I get asked frequently, as do others steeped in geopolitics and the ways of the world. So it was a special pleasure to join Kevin Rudd, Ian Bremmer, and Zeenat Rahman for a discussion on the biggest challenges facing the world at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs the other day. Rudd, is Australia’s Ambassador tot he United States and the country’s former Prime Minister. He’s also a world renowned scholar of China, especially the China of Xi Jinping. Bremmer is founder and president of the Eurasia Group, a geopolitical consulting firm, and frequent commentator on geopolitics. His insights on how technology and, especially, the men and corporations behind it, are changing global powers relations are especially insightful. Rahman is executive director of UChicago’s Insitute of Politics and a very able moderator of our discussion.
