The Times columnist who spent a career advocating and litigating in favor of free speech explains the danger to our liberty set by the arrest and threatened deportation of a legal resident who protested Israel’s actions in Gaza while a student at Columbia.
Eliot Cohen, Invading Canada Is Not Advisable, The Atlantic, March 15, 2025. The military historian has a somewhat tongue-in-cheek analysis of the US fared the last time it tried to invade Canada. Spoiler alert: It didn’t go well.
