Thanks for your comment and kind wishes. I agree that not much has changed. But I don't think this is scheme cooked up by Putin. It was the Europeans who got Trump to agree to sell them weapons to give to Ukraine. And the 50-day deadline was meant to put some pressure on others and, more importantly, convince the Senate not to move ahead with the sanctions bill (which has now been shelved).!
